Scales included are: Major, Dorian Mode, Mixolydian Mode, Minor Pentatonic, Jazz Melodic Minor, The Blues, Chromatic Scale, Whole Tone Scale and the Diminished Scale.

All these books have been set on the 2007 Trinity/Guildhall Jazz Examinations Grades 1 to 8 as an alternative to playing scales.
