Building upon a popular line of instruments, the Leblanc Saxophones draw upon that French heritage toĀ combine sound, response and playability all in one package.
Ā The LAS711 Premiere saxophones possess a bore and neck design that allows forĀ a much fuller and richer sound than the Avant models whilst retaining all of the playability. Over the previous Premiere models, the 711 feels more refined, marrying an expansive sound with a rich tonal core, allowing for more expression than previously possible. Alongside an impressively developed sound, the key work feelsĀ comfortable and the intonation is reliably even for an instrument with such a big sound. The Bronze body tube not only allows for that extra richness in tone, but looks particularly stunning under a Dark Lacquer, creatingĀ a look unique to this instrument.

Right from the beginning, the Premiere 711 felt like a premium saxophone. The key action is very comfortable and felt very natural to play, fitting right under my fingers. Inline with the heritage of Leblanc, the saxophone has a classic 'French' Style, producing a smooth, focused sound with a pleasing warmth. To match this, the Premiere models now come in this smart new Dark Lacquer finish which provides a nice option.
