The tone is consistent and compact and plays nicely in tune all the way to the top - this makes a nice change as we have found that other similar value C Melody horns have had really wayward tuning, whereas this model is very acceptable. It also has a micro-tuner which allows the player to more accurately find the correct mouthpiece position.

If you can't source a C Melody mouthpiece we advise that a good quality alto mouthpiece will work nicely as an alternative.
